Welcome to the start of another week in the murky world of timeshare, tomorrow we will be publishing another article by Irene Parker which follows on from last Friday’s Letter from America. She will be focusing on the first 30 complaints of 90 which Inside Timeshare has now received and this figure is set to rise. But today we focus on another company based in Tenerife targeting and cold calling Silverpoint clients, Timeshare Help Center.
Timeshare Help Center was registered on 20 December 2018, so is not yet 1 year old, they have the CIF number B-76786227 and their address is:
Chayofa Country Club, Chayofa, Tenerife, 38652, Spain.
This address as we all know is a timeshare resort, not a location you would expect for a company looking to get clients for “legal claims” to be based. The registered sector of business is listed as Accommodation & Casinos!
The website https://www.timesharehelpcentre.com/ was only registered on 23 August 2016, so well before the company was registered. The registrants are also hidden by privacy protect so there is no indication of who is actually behind it all.
Well, the only name we can link directly to it is Christopher Chilcott, not an unfamiliar name in the timeshare world. He is the registered sole administrator of the company and according to records he only took the appointment on 8 February 2019.
What we do know is that Christopher Chilcott does have a long association with another company which has figured in many articles and other forums over the years. He was previously Sales & Marketing Manager for Regency Shores SL one of the arms of Dominic O’Reilly’s EZE Group.
Chilcott is also the sole administrator for another company called Chilli Marketing SL, registered on 28 June 2017 with CIF Number B76741461 and the address:
Avda Rafaelpuig Lluvina 19 – Centro Comercial Cit 38640 – (Arona) – Santa Cruz De Tenerife
The purpose of the business is registered in the sector of Business consulting and others, so just like THC nothing about “claims or any legal services”. It may also be a possibility that Chilcott is just the frontman and is not actually the “brains” behind what almost certainly looks like another timeshare scam
One of our readers also gave us some very interesting information regarding an ex-employee of Chilli Marketing which he found on LinkedIn, one Anna Copley who has been working for Chilcott since April 2018. Before this, she worked for Regency Shores between February 2017 and February 2018. Before this Copely did work for Silverpoint Leisure in the admin department for around 5 years.
Now obviously she has a connection with Chilcott through Regency Shores, could she also have supplied the Silverpoint client list, after all, she would have had access to it and it is not unknown for employees in timeshare to keep their own records as an insurance policy?
Just from this information Inside Timeshare would say that you should steer well clear of this lot, ex-EZE Group and yet another ex-Silverpoint employee, not very confidence building would you say!
